How to install wordpress in your computer?

Go to https://wordpress.org

Click on Download Wordpress button right top side of the wordpress site.

Website shows the latest wordpress version in download button. Click on Download Wordpress button.

Download automatically started and displays on left down parts of the web browsers.

After download completed. Unzip  the wordpress zip file

Open unzip folder

Open unzip folder

Copy the wordpress folder

Go to XAMPP installed directory

Open htdocs folder

Paste the copied folder.

You can rename the folder as your need (eg:wpsite)

Run the PHP and MYSQL from XAMPP control panel

Click Start button of Apache and MySQL

Go to web browser

Type http://localhost/phpmyadmin/

Click on Database

In Create Database, type your database name and click on Create button.(eg.mydb)

Go to web browser

Type http://localhost/yourfoldername/

Eg. http://localhost/wpsite/

Select the language from language list and click on Continue button.

After clicking the continue button the following page will displays

Click on Let’s go! Button

In setup configuration page, type your Database Name (eg. mydb),

In username field type root and leave blank in password field

Finally click on Submit button.

Then after second step of installation will start

Click on Run the installation button.

Type your site title (eg.mysite)

Type your site username (eg.admin)

Type your new password for site (eg. mywpsit123)

Type your email address (someone@gmail.com)

Finally click on Install Wordpress button.

Success page will open

Click on Log In button.

Input your username and password

And click on Log In button.

Finally you can view your site like this
